Marci Moreau's journey to the helm of East End Food is marked by a deep-rooted passion for nutrition and a commitment to empowering communities. Prior to her appointment, Moreau founded Time For Life, a nonprofit organization that provided support to children with cancer and their families. Her expertise in nutrition for conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, Alzheimer's, and cancer has earned her recognition as a respected voice in the field.Moreau's guiding mantra, "using food first to power the body and mind," will undoubtedly shape her leadership at East End Food. With a bachelor's degree from the University of Saint Joseph in Connecticut and a master's degree from the University of Southern Connecticut, Moreau brings a wealth of academic and practical knowledge to the organization.
Expanding the Reach of East End Food
As the new executive director, Moreau steps into the shoes of Kate Fullam, who previously held the position for six years. Fullam's departure to the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets Division of Agricultural Development has paved the way for Moreau's leadership.Under Moreau's guidance, East End Food, formerly known as the East End Food Institute, is poised to expand its reach and impact.
